Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how CozmoChart (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use CozmoChart (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this Policy. See also our Terms of Service.

1. Information we collect

Account information: your email address, username, and any display name.
Birth and chart information: the birth date, time, and place (and any current location, gender, or life-event dates) you enter to compute charts. This can be sensitive, so we treat it with care and use it only to provide the Service.
Purchase information: your subscription/plan status and purchase history. Payments are processed by Stripe; we receive confirmation and limited details (such as the last four digits and status) but do not collect or store your full card number.
Usage information: basic logs and technical data (such as IP address, browser type, and actions in the app) needed to run and secure the Service.
Optional integrations: if you connect a calendar, we store the access tokens needed to add forecast events on your behalf.

2. How we use information

To compute your charts, progressions, transits, and forecasts.
To generate written readings (including with the help of AI providers).
To process payments, manage subscriptions, and provide support.
To send service and account emails (such as verification and receipts).
To add forecast events to your calendar, only if you connect one.
To secure, maintain, and improve the Service and comply with law.

3. AI-generated readings

Readings may be created using third-party AI providers. To do this we send the neutral computed inputs needed for the reading (such as chart placements and the relevant context). We use AI providers that do not train their models on data submitted through their business interfaces. Our proprietary interpretive methods are not disclosed to these providers.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed:

Payment processing: with Stripe, to take and manage payments.
AI providers: to generate readings, as described above.
Calendar providers (Google / Microsoft): only if you connect a calendar, to create the events you request.
Astrologers: only the specific charts you explicitly choose to share; you can revoke this at any time.
Legal and safety: when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
Business transfers: as part of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this Policy.

By default, your charts are private to your account and are not visible to other users.

5. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can delete charts at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and associated data.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@cozmochart.com. You may also disconnect a calendar or revoke chart sharing at any time within the app.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies and similar technologies (such as login sessions and local storage of your display preferences) to operate the Service.

9. Children

The Service is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

10. International users

We use service providers that may process data in other countries. By using the Service, you understand your information may be transferred and processed outside your country of residence.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
